Critically-acclaimed Singaporean violinist Siow Lee Chin returns for a special concert to launch her debut recording Songs My Father Taught Me, in conjunction with the 130th anniversary of her alma mater, Raffles Girls’ School.
With appearances in the music capitals of Europe, Australasia and the Americas, Lee Chin has been praised by The Cleveland Plain Dealer, “Here was a lark that ascended with utmost grace and sang in the loveliest of voices”, and described as “ELECTRIFYING” by The Straits Times.
Active in charitable work, Lee Chin now brings her astonishing talent and virtuosity to this concert to benefit children’s charities supported by the President’s Challenge. Don’t miss lyrical masterworks and dazzling showpieces from Lee Chin’s debut album with award-winning pianist Albert Tiu, as well as the magnificent Vivaldi Concerto for Four Violins in B minor accompanied by the RGS String Ensemble.
